How to build a perfect Resume ... ?

A good Resume will help to get better visibility in the market.It helps to grab a good opportunity.I would like to provide some tips on building a good resume .

Before proceding please follow the basic rules.

1)Make sure the length of the resume is max 3-4 pages. There can be exceptions to this but the longer the resume, the less likely it will be read. So make sure your document is small & strong.

2) Don’t include any pictures.

3) Don’t include personal information (Martial status, children ...etc).

4) Include Summary section which provides brief description of your background.

5) Include your summary list; Make this section short and simple.

6) Use proper font size. Usually font size between 10-12 should be better.

7) Don’t use hard text in your resume. Make sure that your resume could be easily understood.

8) Don’t provide false statements; Make sure your resume is accurate and honest.

9) Don’t include your salary information.

Now lets start building Resume step-by-step.

1)Name & Contact details.

The first thing you should include on the top of your resume is Name & Contact details. Your contact details should include your full address, telephone numbers (mobile and home) and email address. It would be better if you could add linked-in link also.

2) Summary details.

Here you can summarize the skills and experience that you have gained from your education and any work experience. Only include things that would be relevant to a potential employer. The summary should be clear and well presented. Make sure that you stick to the facts and be honest.

3) Work Experience.

It is normal to list work experience in reverse chronological order, starting with your most recent position and then working your way backwards. Concentrate on the roles that are most relevant to what you want to do and don't waste too much space on roles that are not that relevant. Focus on your main responsibilities, achievements and skills that you have learned in each role. If you were a team leader / supervisor or manager be sure to mention this on your resume.

4) IT Skills (optional)

If IT skills are relevant to the roles you are applying for then you should list your IT skills on your resume.

5) Personal Details (optional)

It's not normally necessary to include personal details on a resume, you should definitely leave out date of birth and marital status.

6) References (optional)

References aren't generally required at this stage. This totally depends on the employer.
